Lindsay Hodges

I was introduced to Hope Partners in 2018 when I traveled to Ajmer, India on a mission trip with my church and saw firsthand the impact that Hope Partners was making in the lives of little girls. The oasis of safety provided to them inside the Hope Center was such a stark contrast to the harsh poverty on the outside of the gates that it left an imprint on my life that would change the trajectory of my future. After seeing the mission of Hope Partners lived out over the next 10 days in 2018, I knew that God had called me to this ministry, first as a volunteer to lead future trips to India and then in 2024 to join the staff of Hope Partners.

My role as the Sponsorship Manager/ Business Administrator allows me to use my gifting of administration and assist Hope Partners in many ways. It has been such an example of God’s faithfulness to that desperate prayer to God back in 2018 of how can I be a part of what you’re doing here in India, to now be contributing to the rescue and transformation of children’s lives.

Now that I am in this role with Hope Partners I will also be building a personal support team that partners through prayer and finances and plays an essential role in the work God accomplishes through Hope Partners.

One of the amazing ways that I have seen God work in 2024,  was being able to lead 2 different church teams in the mission field in Romania and India. Seeing people fall in love with serving the poorest of the poor, many for the first time, was a feeling that is hard to describe. I’ve been working in ministry for a long time, mostly behind the scenes, so watching the Holy Spirit move in someone’s life and see their hearts open to what God is doing in some of the poorest, most desolate regions in the world, was a gift. It confirmed in me that God created me, gifted me specifically, for this work.

God has big plans for 2025! I currently have 5 mission trips on my calendar to help lead in Romania and India. I have never been more excited about the way the Lord is equipping and using me to further His kingdom. My goal is to continue raising support to cover any travel expenses and monthly salary expenses for Hope Partners International.
