Christmas Journey Through HOPE in Costa Rica
Families walked through HOPE, received a Christmas food bag, took a family photo, and left knowing they are seen and loved.
Some families do not need more things. They need to feel seen. This week at Hope Costa Rica, we closed the year with Camino Navideño, a Christmas journey through our Hope Center. Families walked through HOPE, received a food bag for Christmas, took a Christmas family picture, and watched their kids light up with stocking candy. There were also hugs, the kind that say, “You’re safe here.”

Why this matters
In communities where stress is loud and needs are constant, a simple food bag can steady a home for a few days. But this event goes deeper than a bag. It reminds families they are not alone, that their children matter, and that HOPE is a place where dignity is protected and joy can breathe. And here’s the part people forget. When a family is supported, a child has a better shot at staying in school, staying safe, and believing their future can be different.
Hope Partners International exists to rescue children and help transform their lives through acts of compassion in Jesus’ name. Through our Hope Centers, we walk alongside children and families with food support, education, discipleship, and consistent care, week after week. The goal is not a one-time moment. It is a steady path where a child can grow, heal, and discover the purpose God designed for their life.
