This Was Not the Answer We Expected
Recently at one of our Hope Centers, what started as a simple moment quickly turned into one we’ll never forget. We were passing along a message from Bianca’s sponsor. Just encouragement. Just letting her know someone was praying for her. So we asked her a simple question.
What do you love most about being here?
We thought we knew what she’d say. We were wrong.
Watch What Bianca Said
A Little Girl’s Prayer
Bianca didn’t talk about games or friends. She said she loves to pray. And then she told us why. Every day, she prays for her dad. He’s struggling with alcohol, and she’s asking God to change his life. No one coached that. No one told her what to say. That’s coming straight from her heart. It’s the kind of moment that stops you and stays with you long after it’s over.
At our Hope Centers, we spend time every day helping children learn how to talk to God. Not memorized words. Not something forced. We sit with them. We pray with them. We show them they can bring anything to Him. Their fears. Their family. Their questions. And over time, something changes. It becomes real to them.
That’s what you’re seeing in Bianca.
Our dream for the children
When you sponsor a child, you step into moments like this. You become someone in their life who cares, who shows up, who reminds them they are not alone. It’s not just support. It’s connection. It’s consistency. It’s hope that stays.
And it’s working.
Children are growing. Families are being impacted. Faith is taking root in places that once felt hopeless. If you’ve ever thought about sponsoring a child, this is your moment. Step into a story like Bianca’s.
