Hope Amidst Crisis:
Addressing Water Scarcity at Venezuela’s Hope Center
The situation in Venezuela remains dire, with malnutrition, hyperinflation, and limited access to stable jobs affecting the population. In the midst of these challenges, the Hope Center in Barquisimeto, Venezuela is committed to rescuing children from malnutrition and social risk while providing educational support. However, the center faces its own set of challenges in securing resources and funding for their incredible work.
At the Hope Center in Venezuela, a greenhouse and a farm with pigs and chickens have been established to provide food for the children. Unfortunately, the lack of access to water prevents them from utilizing all their land and maximizing their potential. The center is in desperate need of funding to dig a well and address this critical issue.
In this short video below, Luis Rea, our Director in Venezuela, shares an update on the efforts to locate water and the importance of this project for the Hope Center and the children it serves.
